lead me, guide me

Jenny and I were struck by the closing hymn on Heart of the Nation catholic mass today (HOTN :: Catholic Mass Online - Catholic Prayers & Resources ). It was a hymn that we had never heard before--"Lead Me, Guide Me" by Doris Akers. We found it on youtube (https://youtu.be/QPX5tt480Q8 ).

"Doris Mae Akers (May 21, 1923 – July 26, 1995)[1] was a biracial African-American gospel music composer, arranger and singer who is considered to be "one of the most underrated gospel composers of the 20th century [who] wrote more than 500 songs".[2]

Enjoy!
