sin is very personal. sin is when I deliberately break God's laws. when I break God's laws, I've sinned against God.  church laws are not God's laws. if I deliberately break a church law, then only God will determine if I broke God's laws.  hell is just punishment for deliberately breaking God's laws. only  God alone will decide if I go to hell.
