justice?
2/23/2020 Ahmaud Arbery, a 25 year old black man, was stalked and murdered by three white men while jogging in a suburban neighborhood near Brunswick, GA. The perpetrators were convicted of murder and given sentences of life imprisonment. 5/25/2020 George Floyd died when Derek Chauvin, a veteran Minneapolis MN police officer, knelt on Floyd's neck for 9.5 minutes while he was being arrested on a $20 bill counterfeit charge. Chauvin was sentenced to 22.5 years in prison. 4/21/2021 Daunte Wright, a 20 year old black man, was fatally shot by veteran police officer Kimberly Potter during an attempted arrest in Brooklyn Center, MN. Potter claimed that she had mistaken her service weapon for her taser gun. Potter was convicted of manslaughter. Her sentence is pending. was justice served in these cases? yes and no (maybe). I believe that it was in the Arbery and Floyd cases. I believe that it is questionable in the Potter case (it depends on the sentence that she is given). I belie...
