Change and life are synonymous. When I was a kid, I wanted to drive. When I was 15, I got my learner's permit. When I was 16, I got my license. Driving was a joy. I enjoyed the freedom. Now that I'm old, I don't like to drive. WOW! That's a BIG change. What happened? There are many reasons: I've changed in 60+ years. I've had bad experiences in the last 60+ years driving--accidents, tickets, near misses, etc. The world has changed in 60+ years--roads, more drivers, more traffic congestion, different cars, etc. The same is true with my life. My life experiences have changed me. school marriage kids the army work retirement etc. The world has become darker and meaner to me than it was 60+ years ago.
